Children of Louisa

From the youngest child to high school graduating seniors, our Rotary Club has worked to help our community’s children. Our club provides books for mothers to read to their child. Books are provided at the Louisa Health Clinic and are also donated to the children’s reading room at the public library.

Every 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade student in Louisa Public Schools were given their own dictionary beginning last year. This program will be repeated annually.

Our club sponsors a service to others organization called INTERACT, at the High School. This club of young leaders carries out various service projects and many of them have traveled internationally to foster better understanding with other cultures.

Our club provides an academic scholarship and a community college scholarship annually to deserving High School students.
